Charity Autocross & Car Show

The Philly Region of the SCCA will be hosting a charity event in conjunction with the Eagles and CJ's Tire & Auto on Sunday, October 25th! This event will benefit the Eagles' charity Tackling Breast Cancer, which helps the Jefferson Breast Cancer Center.
This will be Event #11 in our BimmerWorks Summer Solo Series. The event will run according to the Standard SCCA Rules & Procedures in a 4 heat format. Pre-Registration is open now at MotorSportsReg. All competitors should be on site by 8:00 AM for check-in, tech inspection and course walks. Novices are welcome and instruction will be provided. Please consult our Solo Supplemental Rules for complete details. In order to maximize the potential number of competitors, this will be as a National-style, 3 run only event. Note that this will be a spectator Autocross event.
CJ's Tire & Auto will be hosting a Car Show adjacent to the Autocross. Pre-Registration is required for all entrants via CJ's Website.
The show will start at 10:00 AM, with all participants required to arrive between 7:30 and 9:00.
And if the Autocross & the Car Show aren't enoungh, the event will also feature:
- CJ's & the Eagles will hold a silent auction
- The Eagles Cheerleaders will attend
- Swoop will be there
- Eagles Alumni
- Aramark will provide food services with a portion of the proceeds going to charity
- Hankook Tire's Mobile Marketing Tour featuring their FormulaD Drift Team cars
- Best Buy is bringing their "Mobile Fan Zone"
- Tastykake is donating product
- Pepsi, Frito Lay, & Turkey Hill will be providing product samples
- Teva is providing product giveaways
- Chrysler has offered to raffle off a car
Philadelphia SCCA will donate all proceeds from this event in support of the Eagles and their fight against breast cancer. We hope that all of our Region members will come out & enjoy yourselves while also helping a great cause in the Philadelphia community. Please feel free to talk this event up with all of your automotive enthusiast friends and see if they would like to try a Solo event for the first time.
