Ha! My tires blistered very badly last weekend but I just scored some used stock STI tires and had them mounted today. This is my first season and I'm hooked. 14 autox's and 3 schools :D . Now I have this and 4 SJR SCCA Winter events to hold me over until next season!!! Thanks for putting this together, the lot looks awesome! My wallet, not really LOL  To Philly :toast:

Looks like STX is hot! Paul (#29), maybe we should run in the Pro class – might be easier to get a trophy there then against these four.

I'll be there, just got the wifey approval so I'll try to get preregistered soon.

Anybody have any fun co-drive seats open? I'll probably just run the STi, but thought I might test the waters.

I'm seriously looking forward to the STX battle at this event! This will likely be the last event on my STX setup, so I plan on making it count.

You asked for it! Now you'll get to see what this fully operational battlestar is capable of!

Maybe I'll have a co-driver too. 8)

Did one of you guys nail a cone last weekend? My dust shield on the passenger front was bent into the rim, making an awful squeal. All fixed now.

Yes. No. On the tires from my VW. The wheels aren't hub-centric, but I just mounted them w/ the appropriate lug nuts and took a drive. No drama.

Sent you a PM.

hub-centric isn't important. the lugs hold the wheels in place.

... Yeah. I thought it was just the hose, but it turns out the radiator cracked. 112K miles and 700+ autox runs will do that I spose. I don't know if it's going to be ready by Friday, should be. I was actually going to talk to Josh about codriving

Nice! Bring it!

Ah, cones? What cones? Seriously tho, I did hit a few, but none severely. They got the 'love tap'. Sorry about that Jer, I honestly wasn't aware of that.

mikeburg wrote:i'll let John answer that one. The finish was really tight and someone may have gone in a little bit hot.

 Well, at least on that run I didn't hit any cones. I did, however, have to restart the car and use reverse. Yeouch.

You know, I do owe you a drive or two (or six). Matt's letting me drive the Z06 on Sunday, but I could always bring the STi up if you wanted to drive it, just let me know. ;)
