The vote is generally to pick up the number of people who want to attend to make sure that it will be a viable event. Who cares who voted "no" since you are only looking at the number of "yes" votes?

Exactly. I need to make sure there is enough interest in order to hold the event on such short notice.

I want to know who can't make it so I can get an idea of the attendance numbers.

Hello. I'm a novice from mass that is trying to find out more about this event. Will there be/is there pre Reg? I posted the event on the NER site to get more interest from others to go also as i'm interested in gonIg with my wholly unprepared car, which is an '00 s2000 on 17" street tires. I know I'll be in bsp, but want to go have some fun with other like minded individuals.

Hmmm... Will you be running the new STR class? This way I won't get the complete bsp beat down... Lol

KC? Welcome. I've seen you around Nasioc motorsports forum quite a bit.

We will have pre-reg available, but are currently unable to open it as we are trying to wrap up our contract with the site owner. Once this is completed, we will make the official announcement and open pre-reg.

And we already run a local STU2 class similar to the STR class, so you can play where you should

To clarify a bit... the latest news from the Wachovia Center is very encouraging. We expect to finalize a contract with them very shortly, and once we have a confirmed contact in place, we can open registration. With the many items out of our control regarding this, we can not confirm the existence of this event or when registration will be open.

I would however recommend that our competitors check back to the Solo page of our website: http://www.phillyscca.com/solo2/index.html on Wednesday, or definitely later this week. :)

Is there a minimum # of participant required for the event to be held?

Yea run STU2 with me this year then STR, I have an 01 S2k with Intake, High flow cat, some exhaust work, and 17's on street tires now and will be working further on my STR build as time goes on. Its a fun class.

We need a decent turn out so we can put on a good event. Good from our point of view and most important, good from the lot owner's point of view.

The poll was to get a sense of whether there would be a good turn out before comitting to the date. As indicated by JR and Adam, the next step now is waiting for the contracts to be signed and then we're good to go.

I'm hopeful we cap this event at 100 and get 100. I'd be surprised if that didn't happen.

It would be great to keep a low cap, and have 2 heats each like the final event at Boeing. I'd like to sign up and drive all four heats. lol.

We're in the process of finalizing the contract with Comcast Spectacor. The hope is to have registration open once the contract has been approved by all involved parties, hopefully prior to the weekend (hopefully...).
