Ha? It wasn't so funny to our team.Scoob wrote:Yep, the cheater motor finally blew up, HA! It was running so well before it blew, and when it did you could see the fire shooting out (one of) the hole(s) in the block from the other side of the track (where we were swapping drivers). It was a real shame because it was a real contender for the weekend. Between the speed and the driver strategy, it had a real shot.
Jer, you should have asked the track photog chicky if she got any shots of the fire.
Seeing a raging fire through the holes in the firewall tends to make one a little anxious to "get away". I was happy to be able to get out in a fairly quick fashion.

teammate tip: the teammate in the car on the other side of the track can't hear you yell "FIRE!".
however, your teammate fueling a car 10 feet way can hear you very clearly.![]()

Lemons sounds like fun. To watch. I would never bother running, even driving, in such a series; I take my racing too seriously. I enjoy succeeding, not making an ass outta myself.
are you sure?

Rob-I've convinced Dave that on the back of the car it needs to read "What now, B*tches?"
