Forum Rules
- The Philadelphia Region SCCA Forum operates with a family-oriented atmosphere. Posting pornographic, vulgar, degrading, or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated. Offensive material will be deleted on site by a moderator and the user warned. The determination of offensive material is at the sole discretion of the moderators or administrators.
- Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. Spam includes solicitation of products or services by individuals who are not region sponsors. Links, text, or images determined to be spam will be deleted on site. If we believe you have created an account specifically to post or spread spam you we will instantly and permanently banned.
- Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.
- Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or colored text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Users consistently abusing this will be warned.
- Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Moderators may move your post to the correct forum.
- The use of attachments should be for region business only. The use of attachments is on the “honor system” and members are not to abuse it. Attaching pictures of a potential new lot or a document with worker assignments is OK. But attaching pictures of you new car or wheels is not. Personal pictures should be hosted elsewhere (photobucket, flickr, picasa, imageshack, etc) and linked with the [img] bbcode tag. Inappropriate attachments will be removed and the user warned. All attachments may become the property of Philadelphia Region SCCA.
- Users are reminded that the purpose of this forum is for discussion of the region and SCCA related activities. Post content should not be to far “off-topic”. The provided Off-Topic forum is for discussion of general automotive and region community related discussions only. Political or religous views or discussions are not appropriate content for this forum. Such content will be deleted on site by a moderator and the user warned.
- Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on warez, crackz, illegally distributed media, etc. or re-printing material without permission will receive a warning and their post will be removed.
- The moderators and administrators of this forum reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, offensive, abusive, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users.
- The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging.
- The moderators and administrators of Philadelphia Region SCCA will generally moderate on a “three strikes and you're out” system. Users receiving three warnings on any one subject or three warnings in a short period of time will have their account suspended for 30 days. An exception to this rule is spamming where users may be permanently banned with no warning.
