On Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and 16, Pocono Raceway will be alive with race cars, pit crews, flaggers and fun as the Tri-Region Race Group (Sports Car Club of America) hosts the Pocono Sports Car Grand Prix.

Qualifying will begin early each morning. The racing action will begin mid morning and feature seven races each day. This weekend of racing will attract over 200 cars and drivers all running for National points and a place in the year-end SCCA National Championship Runoffs held at Road America (Elkhart Lake, WI) in September.

Seven 45-mile racing events add up to 315 miles of highly competitive racing each day. Racing will take place rain or shine!

View the whole track from the front straight Grandstands. Get up close to the twisting infield section. Visit the Garage and Paddock area to see the cars up close and talk with the Drivers. Get a close look at the teams as they prepare their race cars between sessions. Cameras and questions are always welcome

Come for the clash of the Corvettes and Vipers. Check out the built-for-speed pure race cars - highly agile Formula Cars and lightning fast Sports Racers. Watch as Neons, Porsches and Miatas challenge the road course, banking and chicane.

One dollar from each ticket sold will be contributed to Lap to Conquer MS, a charity founded in 1989 by two members of Tri-Region to increase Multiple Sclerosis awareness through motor sports, while raising funds for the National MS Society.
